Founded in 2015 in Southern California by Dr. John Kim, Cal Dental USA has rapidly grown into a modern Dental Service Organization (DSO) focused on delivering high-quality, affordable, and patient-centered dental care. Built on a foundation of clinical excellence, operational innovation, and community impact, the organization continues to position itself among the emerging leaders in modern dentistry.
Our leadership team combines extensive experience in healthcare, business development, and clinical dentistry. Dr. John Kim serves as the Founder and visionary behind the organization’s long-term growth and patient-first philosophy. Dr. Ki Lee, serving as Lead Dentist, helps oversee clinical standards and quality care throughout the network. CEO James Jones leads the company’s strategic growth, partnerships, branding, and operational expansion as Cal Dental USA continues scaling across multiple markets.

Dr . John Kim, DDS
Dentist
Dr. John Kim, USC School of Dentistry ’86, is an expert in dental implants with over 10,000 procedures since 1994. A Fellow and Diplomate of ICOI, he earned a Mastership in Implant Prosthodontics in 1998. A U.S. Air Force veteran, he’s trained many doctors worldwide and is known for his patient-centered care.
Dr Ronald Kim, DDS
Dentist
Dr. Ronald C. Kim is a seasoned dentist based in Van Nuys, California, with over 24 years of experience in the field. A 1999 graduate of Ohio State College of Dentistry, Dr. Kim specializes in providing expert guidance on dental hygiene practices, including brushing, flossing, and gum care. He recommends biannual visits, unless additional testing indicates a more serious issue. Dr. Kim is currently accepting new patients and is dedicated to delivering high-quality dental care.
